Have you ever wondered whether your Nosework/Scent Work dog can handle real life searches? This is your chance to find out, while supporting a great organization! The American Police Canine Association is hosting the "2025 K9 SNIFF OFF" where you and your K9 partner can test your skills in replicas of real-life searches and see how you stack up against the pros. The fun will happen at the Joan Martin School in Hobart, IN. All proceeds from the "2025 K9 SNIFF OFF" go to support The American Police Canine Association whose mission is to provide training and support to K9 working teams, to accredit K9 working teams and increase public awareness of what police service dogs do.
Tony Gravley, Jeff Eldridge, Doug Ayres and Ken York will replicate searches that the pros do in the real world so you can experience what professional detection teams do and see how you fare. Each team will do a total of nine searches – 4 Interiors, 4 Vehicles and 1 Containers/Parcels. (Don't worry, you don't have to search for drugs or bombs – civilian teams will search for the odors on which they are trained.)
Awards will be given to the top 3 teams and any team that successfully completes all of the searches will get a ribbon. There's a rumor that you might even be able to go head-to-head to compete against some professional teams. If you win, you get bragging rights AND Next Generation K9, LLC/Tony Gravley and Nose-It-All, LLC/Lisa Basial will make a donation to The American Police Canine Association in your honor.
Only 25 teams can compete. Registration is by first received. Send in your Entry today to secure your spot and support those who protect and serve! Every participant gets a t-shirt and a 2025 Associate Membership in the APCA.

When do you get a chance to be in the police department with your dog … and no one requires bail money! This session will be geared to the teams that are entered. We will have all levels of experience. Tony will take us through exercises geared towards each level.
Doors will open at 8:30am

Bring your own lunch. Water and snacks will be available
All funds raised go to the Hobart Police Department Association. If you entered or volunteered at the Saturday event you get 10% off your entry fee.
